Do OVER. More Painting and Other Exciting Things

This is what happens when the dark paint color just won't go on even no matter  

how many coats you put on. Back to the drawing board...in a big way.

So I decided to go a completely different direction....and a much lighter color.

Pavilion Peach by Glidden. It goes better with all the cute fabrics I just picked up off Craigslist. 

Painting the Interior

We started painting the interior of the Tioga yesterday.

We are using Zinsser 1-2-3 Primer & Sealer in gray. This primer is "stain blocking, fast drying, and has excellent adhesion to glossy surfaces". Use Zinsser 1-2-3 Gray Primer "with rich or dark topcoat colors to improve adhesion and coverage. May be used under and over any oil or latex architectural paint. The dried film is mold and mildew resistant."

Zinsser

• Sticks to all surfaces without sanding (I hate sanding)
• Seals uniformly (this is true)
• Blocks stains (we will see)
• Drys in one hour (this is true)
• Use with any topcoat
